Fresh Water

http://www.gofishmidwest.com/images/LargemouthBass.jpg

I have recently took an afternoon trip bass fishing in a fresh water lake. We didn't leave the house until about noon. We loaded up our 15 foot bass tracker and set out for the lake. I was using a bait caster with 20 pound test braided line. We were all using lures that sunk because of the cold weather. When fishing for bass in colder weather you have to make sure you fishing towards the bottom and you have to fish real slow. With the water being a little colder the fish tend to stay towards the bottom and move much slower. You have to give them a chance to hit the bait so you want to bring the lure in slow when reeling in. Over all we caught 10 bass but didn't keep any of them. I was a great day out on the lake and we all had lots of fun. Hope this was helpful.

Good fishing To All,
Captain Brandon
