Grouper

I am going to tell you about the fishing trip I took over the weekend for grouper. We left the dock at 5 am and pushed 22 miles off shore. Once getting to the hole we wanted to fish in we dropped our lines. After only a few minutes of fishing my dad got hooked up on a 25 pound grouper. After fishing at this spot with 4 fish in the icebox we moved on to another spot 7 miles away. We had a lot of luck at the second spot were we limited out in only an hour. Before we cruised in we had lunch and trolled for an hour and a half but had no luck. We got back to the dock around 4. We did a lot better than most people who went out because we beat them back to the dock. We cleaned the fish and headed home. Over all the trip was very successful and a lot of fun. We hope to go back out soon before snapper season opens back up and the boats start to multiply. This is what I encountered this weekend while fishing, hope it was helpful.

Good Fishing to all,
